Ian Desouza
Director
Devoted father of five girls, pilot, who enjoys an outdoor lifestyle. With a broad, international business and operational back ground, Ian is a degreed Engineer who has Lived in Africa, Europe and America; with extensive working time also spent in China and South East Asia.
As a Senior Manager for Domino Printing Sciences, President of Universal Instruments, Managing Director at Alstom Transport and owner-manager of his multinational metal fabrication business, Ian has managed manufacturing operations and businesses in Europe, Asia and America, and software development in India.
The turnaround Ian lead at the helm of Alstom Transport featured in the Discovery Channels Ultimate Factories series. Ian has project managed and overseen multiple ERP deployments including SAP ByD and MAAPICS, Ask ManMan, JD Edwards, SAP R5 twice.
Malcolm Staff
Director
A British electrical engineer by profession, Malcolm moved into sales and marketing of industrial equipment, becoming a Director at Danfoss UK. After twelve good years there he moved into mechanical manufacturing in Europe as a Managing Director of Halifax Fan. Seeking new markets in Asia, Malcolm has lead teams establishing successful, wholly foreign-owned (‘WOFE’) manufacturing operations in China.
Recognising the need for sharing of customer and company information and the benefit of flexible, cloud based systems in developing satellite plants and operations, Malcolm has a depth of experience in their implementation and operation and, importantly, motivating the teams to adapt and use them.
Focussed mainly in sales and marketing modules he has a wide experience especially of the following:
- SAP R5.
- Netsuite.
- SAP byDesign.
- Sharepoint.
- Microsoft 365.
Based in China for some years now, Malcolm is constantly juggling the balance of work, Asian food and keeping fit.
